Sacred Pie!

So....how DID you guys meet?

Psalm 139:7-10

Well Jillian,

... we all met once upon a time, just shy of never-never land in what you could call our College years. We managed to be in the same group of friends, with Sid and Bob both being of the same class (year-wise), while I happened to be best friends with a "mentor" (you might know him from his cameo role in SP - Martyn) (in his own words - GO RED DAWGS! WOOF!) of their make-believe non-sanctioned fraternity at the wonderful college of STROSE (or St. Rose for the layman).

. How we came to live together, is by definition, not a short tale. But suffice it to say we managed to all be poor enough (and dumb enough) to try to fit multiple guys into way too small apartments. Bob and Sid were both finishing up schooling at STROSE and I happened to be needing a roomate, so Sid, being on hard times moved with me. Bob came to hang out alot, and the apartment you see drawn in the First chapter happens to be our Ol' Place. Finally, we all decided to move in together ... "with two other shmooks" (<--- IS BOB) into a new place just after Sacred Pie's infancy passed. The two other shmooks were Martyn, and our friend Medlar (yes, the monk from Sacred Pie =) ... we were all a merry bunch, drinking, partying (oh, the parties we had) ... and amidst all this Bob continued on drawing ... he made cameos for all the people in our lives, which is why giving them as contest prizes helps us so much, but also means alot ...

. Needless to say, Bob continued drawing, we all continued drunken brain storming and Bob's creation slowly grew to be a central part of our days together. We ate, slept and dreamt Sacred Pie. I remember the day we got our first batch of stickers - the really old school ones (which some of the few priveledge people whom read Sacred Pie have) ... and we were gonna tell the world about Sacred Pie with Stickers ... the ideas never stopped from that point on. Bob and the lot of us have seen alot of things come and go within the realm of ideas, but we're always searchin' ...

. Some people have left, some have stayed, but through it all, we've had Sacred Pie to light the way ... kinda cool statement to a bunch of college drunks now wouldn't ya say ;).

P.S. - love the Psalm quote ... might need to study it further and start writing some new plot twists ;) (I love being a tease!) ...

P.P.S. - this is about the nicest letter I have ever written ... glad it was the first one, might actually get a second after this gem! *In his best homer voice - Did I say that out loud?!
